Homeless people who connect via internet
Here's an interesting photo reportage on homeless people in San Francisco that connect via the Internet. Key problems seems to be how to get power and wireless connection. Some solutions are shown in the photo reportage: Homeless and Online in San Francisco.

When I worked by the riverfront in New Orleans, shortly before Katrina, there was a homeless man named "New York" John who up every morning by the RiverWalk reading the Wall Street Journal. Hope he made out o.k.
Thank you for sharing the story! Some of my homeless friends in Gothenburg use internet, some more use their mobile for texting. And some refuse to get online. (In libraries you can get free internet access in Sweden.)
